Leisure Group Travel Offers Promotional Insert Service

October 19, 2000 – Travel industry suppliers interested in targeting the lucrative group travel marketplace will now be able to tap the database of Illinois-based Leisure Group Travel Magazine. The publication is allowing tourism offices, tour operators, attractions, hotels and others the opportunity to distribute marketing pieces such as post cards, flyers and brochures along with their quarterly magazine mailings.

"There are three intrinsic benefits to this program," explains Jeff Gayduk, publisher of the magazine. “First, suppliers can now target our nearly 14,000 subscribers in a new and different way. We do not broker our mailing list, so this is the only way to reach the top travel groups in the country other than advertising in our magazine. Second, by inserting promotional literature with our magazine, suppliers achieve instant recognition and top-of-mind awareness among our readers. Third, distributing through our publication saves time, and most importantly money because we manage the entire distribution process. There are no labels to run, envelopes to stuff or trips to the post office."

There has been a tremendous response from the marketplace already with domestic and international deluxe tour operator Caravan Tours, leading New York theatre packager Theatre Direct and Casinos of Quebec all distributing their literature via the insert program in upcoming issues.

Future issues of the magazine will be polybagged for convenience and ascetic purposes. Weight and size restrictions apply on inserts, so the publication suggests interested parties contact them for a customized quote.
